As the year draws to a close and many consider where to direct their charitable giving, we invite you to look closely at The Loyalty Foundation—a 501(c)(3) public charity founded in 2019 by former Manhattan Assistant District Attorney David Neeman.
Our Mission
“Bridging the digital divide to joyfully empower today’s youth to dream, strive and thrive in tomorrow’s digital economy.”
The Loyalty Foundation provides free laptop computers and Out of School Time (OST) esports and technology education programs to K-12 students in under-resourced communities across the U.S.
By leveling the playing field and inspiring a love of technology, the foundation empowers students to develop the knowledge, skills, and self-esteem needed for a lifetime of success in the digital economy.
The Loyalty Foundation helps children and their parents recognize the power of technology and digital education as tools for self-empowerment. Access to these resources can open doors to steady employment and well-paying careers that uplift students and their families. Just as importantly, it inspires young people to think creatively—showing them real pathways to becoming entrepreneurs, video producers, game designers, or whatever they aspire to be.
Impact at a Glance
Devices4All®: Distributed 2638 refurbished Chromebooks donated via 29 partner organizations across 14 states (including New York City). Three additional distributions are scheduled before the end of 2025 at the Boys & Girls Club of Poughkeepsie, Seattle Nativity School, and in Boston. 2026 will kick off with two distributions at the Criminal Justice Initiative in the Bronx and at Little Wound High School on the Pine Ridge Reservation in South Dakota.
Beyond hardware: Out-of-School Time programs in esports and technology-AI education help students become creators—not just consumers of technology. We're in the midst of our 8-week Vibe Coding course being simultaneously tought to high school age students at three Boys & Girls Clubs in Michigan.
Esports: In 2023, launched Newark City Schools’ first-ever high school esports program at the Newark School of Data Science & Information Technology—now expanded to East Side High School and Technology High School. In 2024, Additional esports programs were established at The Gateway Family YMCA in Elizabeth, NJ and three Boys & Girls Clubs in southwestern Michigan.
Local roots, national reach: We are based in New York City with programs and partners across multiple states for equitable, scalable impact.
Voices of Impact
“This is a godsend. We’re really blessed and thankful because I could have never done this on my own. So, this is really good for us.”— Donna, mother of Chromebook recipient Jalyssa
"Your kids are not just playing games, they’re actually learning. We are providing opportunities and connection to keep our students grounded, to keep them coming, which is why our attendance the best in the district right now,”— Dr. Liana Summey, Principal, Newark School of Data Science and Information Technology
“This is the first computer I’ve ever owned, and it means someone out there cares about me! … This will help with my schooling and connect me with a good job in the future!”— Darrius Butler, KTECH Student, Huntsville, AL
