50 Chromebooks Donated at Bronx Youth Summit

The Loyalty Foundation participated in the 2026 Phipps BXCAT Youth Summit on June 27 at the Justice Sonia Sotomayor Community Center in the Bronx, where Founder and Chairman David Neeman distributed 50 free Chromebooks to students who did not have a computer at home. Neeman also led a 45-minute workshop on entrepreneurship, discussing how young people can build businesses and why technology skills are essential for future success.
Hosted by Phipps Neighborhoods' Bronx Community Action Team (BXCAT), this year's summit, "Powered by Youth, Driven by Change," brought together young people from across the Bronx for a day of learning, leadership, and community engagement. Free workshops explored civic engagement, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, personal safety, and self-empowerment, alongside guest speakers, spoken word performances, raffles, and other activities designed to inspire the next generation of changemakers.
Following the event, Willie Thomas, Program Director for Community and Public Safety at Phipps Neighborhoods, thanked The Loyalty Foundation for its contribution:
"Your generous donation of Chromebooks, along with your willingness to facilitate a workshop, made a tremendous impact on the young people, their families, public officials, and everyone who attended. The enthusiasm and engagement your contributions generated were truly inspiring."
Thomas also praised the Foundation's commitment to the community, adding:
"Your genuine interactions with community members left a lasting impression and reflected the spirit of service and partnership that makes our work possible. We are deeply grateful for your partnership and look forward to continuing our work together."
