50 Chromebooks distributed at Boys & Girls Club of Central Mississippi

Updated: Jan 22

We are thrilled to welcome The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi to the Loyalty Foundation family of partners. Our founder and CEO David Neeman drove from New York City to Jackson to meet the staff and youth and see the facilities.

Established in 1937, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Mississippi serves over 2,200 youth, ages 6 – 18 at four locations (units) throughout Jackson, as well their camp facility.

The 50 Chromebooks were provided thanks to a generous grant from the Glenn. W. Bailey and distributed to students (who the BGCCM refers to as “scholars”) at the Capitol, Sykes, and Walker Units as well as at Camp John I. Hay.

Of our partnership, BGCCM President and CEO, Naomi Jackson wrote, “Thank you! It is partners like you that makes our job easier for the youths we serve and impact daily. Forever Grateful!”

We've included a few photos from the visit. Adults pictured (top photo) are Naomi Jackson, President/CEO, Boys & Girls Club of Central Mississippi (with David) and Jordan Seals, Unit Director and Latasha Pierce, Program Director of the Capitol Unit. Tap any photo to enlarge.
